Daily Paintworks Challenge

So tonight I entered the "Daily Paintworks Challenge". The challenge was to set a timer for 10 minutes paint an object, wait a couple of minutes then paint it again and again with different lighting or from a different angle, just 10 minutes per painting. This is a 6" x 6" gessoboard canvas divided into 4 squares of 3" each. This was a great exercise in trying to paint an object fast and being loose. I also painted on Ampersand gessoboard for the first time. The texture is very smooth, different from the canvas that I have been painting on. I will definitely do this exercise again. Tomorrow Friday will be a work at home day...will need to pick something new to paint!!!
