Last night I painted the "Daily Paintworks Challenge" a single red rose...
What a challenge it was, I gave myself just a half hour to paint it. I had never painted a flower before, and then there was the challenge of the black background....both hard, hard hard. I almost didn't post it because I'm not that pleased with the outcome...I think I got a little mixed up in the details. But hey, it was my first attempt at a rose, and this is what this blog is about, my journey. I will have a lot of first attempts, a lot of "not so good" and "lets try again"...so expect to see flowers again in the future!
